He married 2 Oct. 1707, Mary Selden, born at Hadley, Mass,5 Mar. 1688/9, daughter of Joseph and Rebecca(Church) Selden. If you are a descendant of this couple, I would like to hear from you. |
| Steven M. Spencer | joearmy@wolfenet.com | I am descended from Sherman Amos Spencer (b. 6/19/1866 in Waupaca, WI, d. 4/19/1955 in Paradise, CA, m. to Alvira Prisilla Stevens). He is the son of Freeman Spencer (m. to Geneta Brown). No further info is available to me in my Spencer lineage. It is family lore that we're descended from the Earls of Sunderland, but I have no corroborating evidence linking Freeman with the Sunderland Spencers. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd be very grateful! |
